We’re all living in this locked down dimension of helpless intention.
But our memories remain.
As we jam the night away,
The negativity we refrain.
The cold numb nights,
The non-existent fights,
The smoke and the spirits they guide us.
There was a long time before,
But we’ve dedicated ourselves to what the future will provide us and more.
Underneath the surface is a world unknown,
Burying itself into the deepest catacombs,
I wish I could go down there and,
Save the lost souls,
But the gates are welded shut and there’s always a story untold.
This metamorphosis is here,
It’s been so loud and clear.
I’m learning more about the truth,
And how it all relates to my youth.
The Times, They Are A-Changing,
A voice that’s constantly raging.
The darkness is light,
And the void is no longer returning.
We live our lives through creations we gift,
Priding ourselves through this universal shift,

I feel something is happening.
It’s been going on for sometime.
I feel like the pain is finally ending.
I feel like I’m opening up again.
The walls still stand in place,
Upon the thoughts that flood my face.
Even though I think I’m drowning,
I’m only growing.
This room is full of life.
The frequencies permeate my eardrums as I bask in this monumental moment.
We romanticize, but we never formalize.
Our beliefs and our morals stay true,
But our musical exports become a new.
The nights are short,
But full of longevity.
A cloud of smoke fills the air,
We inhale it and we create.
As life fights us in it's wake,
We live like we no longer care.
That familiarity sets in.
The journey is about to begin.
Obstacles are a given in this and at most a kin,
The roads will grow rocky,
But nothing will stop us on this long-awaited expedition,
To the end where we can finally be happy.
